The UK is on the verge of a battery boom. Over the next decade, millions of EV batteries will reach the end of their first life. But they’re not dead. Most still have years of useful energy left or are a source of recyclable critical minerals for reuse in next generation batteries, creating the opportunity to build a circular economy for EV batteries as EV adoption accelerates.

That’s why we launched recell.store, the UK’s first dedicated marketplace for used EV batteries. 100% owned by Altilium and part of our full battery circularity ecosystem, recell.store connects auto dealers, salvage yards, fleet operators and insurers with buyers across energy storage, backup power, remanufacturing and recycling.
